Oscar Crawford Media Announces the Weekly 120 Writers Con Coming January 4th

120 Weekly Writers' Con provides a weekly platform for writers to produce their best 120 words or less creating and crafting story from a photo presenting four items. No backstory provided. A photo published to social media on Mondays of the four items stages the week's competition.

Writers will develop 120 word stories from the four items. Entry fee for each submission is $1.00.  Writers may submit no more than one entry daily Monday through Friday Midnight Mountain Standard Time.  Weekly Prize will be 1/2 of all entry fees paid on the Monday of the Winner Announcement. 
The Rules

Include a statement with your submission indicating it is your original work that says, ‘This is my original work produced for the Weekly 120 Writers Con for the week of (the week submitted). Provide a title and your name to follow. Neither your statement of original work, nor your title or your name are included in your word count.

Do not exceed the word count.  The counter in Microsoft Word will check your submission. How writers tie the items together limited only by personal creativity and skills of craft.

All work submitted to oscarcrawfordmedia@gmail.com no later than midnight Friday night at midnight Mountain Standard Time the week of competition. Weekly winners of the 120 will receive an e – certificate of award plus dollar winnings by 945 AM Mountain Standard Time on the Monday immediately following the week of competition. Get Ready! Get ready to bring your best storytelling! The fun begins on January 4, 2016. The more writers submitting entries, the higher the cash prize payout will be.

More Information

All winners must be able to receive cash prize payout by electronic payment. Do not submit your electronic payment system until notice of submitting the winning entry.  

Oscar Crawford Media will pay out ½ of all entry fees to the winning submission. Oscar Crawford Media is not responsible for costs to receive electronic payment.

Judging will completed in two rounds. The first round establishes the top five entries. A panel of five writers reading only entries without names will read, review, discuss and choose the final winner. Decision of the panel of judges is final.
